UAE Heads to Egypt for the 2025 Ladies and Junior Pan Arab Golf Championships
(Cairo, Egypt) – On May 8-10, 2025, the Egyptian Golf Federation will host the 2025 Ladies and Junior Pan Arab Golf Championships at the Katameya Dunes and Madinaty Golf Clubs. The championship will be played across six different divisions, while the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) will send nine players to play in four.

Sanctioned under the Arab Golf Federation, the championship is expected to host affiliated members and teams from Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Playing in the 16th Arab Ladies Championship for the UAE team are Intissar Rich, Sara Ali Abubaker, and Hannah Cheryl Alan.
Representing the UAE in the 24th Arab Championship for Juniors Division will be Rashed Al Naqbi and Abdulla Kalbat in the U-18 Division and Abdulla Salmeen, Mohammed Tabet, and Abdulla Darwish in the U-16 Division.
In the 5th Arab Championship for U-13 Boys Division, Zayed Ali Abubaker will be playing as an individual player. The U-13 Boys and Girls Divisions will be played over 36 holes, while the Ladies, Girls U-16, Boys U-18, and Boys U-16 championships will be played over 54 holes. As is the norm with all Pan Arab Golf Championships, teams of three will represent each country, with the 2 lowest scores counting each day. There will be winners for the Best Individual and Best Team.
Traveling with the team will be EGF Vice President Abdualla Alhashmi, Secretary General Kahlid Mubarak Al Shamsi, and UAE National Team Head Coach Faycal Serghini.
