Mashreq Bank Becomes Title Sponsor For 2019 – 2020 UAE National Monthly Medals
(Dubai, UAE) – The Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) is delighted to announce that Mashreq Bank will be the title sponsor for the 2019 – 2020 United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Monthly Medals. Starting October 26th the EGF will host six events during the UAE golf season across four different emirates. With Mashreq Bank as a title sponsor, the EGF is looking to use this partnership to develop these events while providing a platform for UAE national golfers to compete and socialize.
The UAE National Monthly Medals powered by Mashreq Bank are events that are for UAE nationals, which are comprised of five divisions and will have 60 – 80 competitors. The medals are run on a Stableford point system and all competitors must a golfers handicap. In addition to the Main, Ladies, Junior & Senior Divisions the EGF will be adding a Par 3 Division at each event giving the players in the National Junior Development Program the opportunity to compete and socialize with the other UAE golfers.

The first event will tee off the medal season on October 26th at Yas Links Abu Dhabi. The EGF will also be making its rounds at Al Ain Equestrian Shooting & Golf Club, Al Hamra Golf Club, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Dubai Hills and ending the season at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club.
“This platform is perfect for Mashreq Bank and their networking business relations with UAE Nationals. The bank will be exposed to a wide verity of nationals from different ages and genders,” said EGF Secretary General Mr. Khalid Mubarak Al Shamsi.
