DEBORAH’S DAY AS SHE SECURES AGMC LADIES OPEN TITLE AT MEYDAN

(Dubai, UAE) – Meydan Golf welcomed some of the region’s top Lady Golfers to compete for the AGMC Ladies Open, Event Four on the Emirates Golf Federation Order of Merit schedule. With nine of the Top Ten Ladies in the field, it was evident that the conclusion was going to be very close.

Deborah Chang began her round with an impressive fifteen pars in a row. She finally made a birdie on the Par 4 16th, taking her to one under par. Pars on the 17th and 18th resulted in a round of 71, meaning that she finished one stroke ahead of Natalii Gupta and Sakura Kawakami, with Gupta taking the Runner-Up Prize following a fantastic back nine of 34, two under par.

In the Net Division, Kawakami was victorious with a Net 69. The Runner-Up Prize went to UAE National Team Member Reema Al Heloo, who closed with a Net 70.

Nearest the Pin Prize was won by Xavier Arries, with Sara Engsig winning the Longest Drive. The victory for Chang means that she climbs to the top of the Order of Merit with seven events to go.
