Sang Deog Kim Takes His Chance To Tee It Up With The Pro’s
(Ras al-Khaimah, UAE) – Sang Deog Kim became the Luckiest Medal winner carding a solid 71 to take himself one step closer to one of the biggest amateur prizes in UAE golf. The Luckiest Ball on Earth qualifier which took place last Saturday will now see Sang take part in the Grand Final event on Sunday 23rd October at Jumeirah Golf Estates with a hope of playing with the pro’s in the Rolex Pro-Am event on 15th November on the Earth Course.
Sang will now compete against 23 other qualifiers in the Grand Final all thanks to his superbly consistent golf which included 2 net birdies to finish. He did all the hard work on the front nine making the turn on 4 under to give himself some breathing space going into the homeward stretch.
His score turned out to be 2 better than Wilma Fernandes who had to settle for second place after a 1 over 73. Al Hamra Golf Club would like to wish Sang the very best of luck in the Grand Final and hopes to see an Al Hamra member tee it up with the big boys.
