Conares Golf Society League is Back
(Sharjah, UAE) – Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club were once again extremely pleased to welcome back 20 golf societies all vying to become the 2015-2016 Conares Golf Society League Champions. The fixtures on Saturday 10th October saw the societies within both the Conares and BMW leagues begin their challenge to become the top society.
It was the one society who headed the leader board in the Conares league after Round 1 with Dubai Exputts hailing 6 points for their afternoon’s golf with two wins out of two games. All societies claimed at least one point from their matches bar the GODS golf society who just got narrowly beaten in two games by the leaders.
The BMW league saw some much tighter matches with three golf societies claiming one win, GOATS, GTI and three points. This league will be very tight with 5 excellent Teams doing battle over the 5 weeks.
With round 1 over and still 4 more to be played before we hit the New Playoff stages, there is certainly still a huge amount of golf that lays ahead for the societies to improve on their current positions. The next round of the Conares and BMW league is due to play on Saturday, 31st October 2015.
