DONALDSON’S CLAIM 7TH GOLF SOCIETY CUP
(Sharjah, UAE) – The Dubai Exputts team of Max and Richard Donaldson proved they were not just showing up to make the numbers as they claim the 7th edition of the SGSC Golf Society Cup played on Saturday 26th September. In a nearly full field which included 20 plus pairings, made up of 16 different societies the Donaldson’s returned nines of 33 & 30 (nett 63) to walk away with the title on a score card count back from the Albatross Golf Society. The duo carded then net birdies and only a single bogey in their superb round.
With the Albatross returning nett 63 also, with the new partnership of Namir Al Naimi and KJ Lee, who just narrowly missed out on top spot but was a great showing for their first game together which included eight net birdies and one net eagle.
The last prize on the day went to Sports 2Business duo of Pedro Kafie and Richard Aybar who didn’t really think they were in with a chance but after counting up their great score it came to a total of 65net. The total was carded with five net birdie and two net eagles.
With the Conares Golf Society League just around the corner, the Golf Society Cup enabled all team captains and players the chance to mingle ahead of the much anticipated series of society matches.
